These terms are the agreement between you and Lovycards for using the Lovycards app and this website. By using either, you accept them.
1. Who we are
Lovycards is made by Michael Zappala’ (Liotrodev), Płochocińska 100, 03-044 Warszawa, Poland. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What Lovycards is
Lovycards is a deck of question and riddle cards for two people sharing one phone. It is for conversation and for fun. It is not counselling, therapy or advice of any kind, and it does not replace professional help.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lovycards.
3. What is free, and what Premium adds
- Free. The deck you pick during setup and Light Riddles, each with 5 new cards a day, and one extra Let’s talk question every day. The deck you pick is yours for good and cannot be swapped later.
- Lovycards Premium. Every deck and every card, with no daily limit, for as long as your subscription is active.
We add, edit and retire cards and decks over time.
4. Subscriptions
- Premium is bought through Google Play with your Google account, and Google takes the payment. Google Play’s own terms apply to the purchase.
- It is a weekly subscription. It renews automatically every week until you cancel.
- The price, any free trial and the renewal date are shown by Google Play before you confirm. If you start a free trial, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- You can cancel at any time in Google Play, under Subscriptions, or from Manage or cancel in Google Play in the app’s Settings. Premium then stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from (Google Play, or Apple’s App Store once Lovycards is there) under its refund policy. Nothing in these terms takes away a right to withdraw or to a refund that the law of your country gives you.
- If the price changes, Google Play tells you beforehand and, where the law requires it, asks you to agree.
- A subscription belongs to the Google account that bought it. Restore purchases brings it back on another phone signed in to the same account.
5. Using Lovycards
Lovycards is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy the cards in bulk, resell them, or take the app apart, except where the law allows it. Sharing single cards with the app’s Share button is welcome.
6. Our content
The cards, the artwork, Pip, the Lovycards name and the app’s design belong to Michael Zappala’, who makes Lovycards.
7. Your content
The app does not collect what you type on a card, and none of it leaves your phone; our privacy policy says exactly what does. If you email us an idea, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
8. No guarantees
We work to keep Lovycards working and its cards good, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes, or that a card will suit you both. A riddle’s answer may be arguable. That is half the fun.
9. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, Lovycards is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the app or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer.
10. Ending
You can stop using Lovycards at any time by uninstalling the app; cancel any subscription first. We may change or withdraw the app or this website. If we withdraw the app, a subscription already paid for runs to the end of its period and does not renew.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at its top. A change that matters to subscribers is announced before it takes effect.
12. The law that applies
These terms are governed by Polish law, and the courts of Poland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can also bring a claim in the courts there.
